Most location apps show you dots on a map. The hard part of family logistics isn't the dots — it's Tuesday's swim pickup. This is how Wenlo handles it.
A carpool in Wenlo is a small shared circle: your family plus the families you actually drive with. One parent creates it, sets the schedule (one-tap import from a TeamSnap or league calendar link works too), and invites the other families. Everyone sees the same season at a glance — who's driving, which kids ride, what's uncovered.

Drivers claim the days they can take. A claim isn't a vague intention — when you claim a pickup, the other parents see it instantly, and the app asks you to confirm as the day approaches. If plans change, you unclaim and the slot visibly reopens instead of silently falling through the cracks.
Wenlo quietly tracks who has driven how often and shows each family's share of the load. No spreadsheets, no guilt math in the group chat — the rotation stays visibly fair, which is what keeps carpools alive past October.
On your driving day, Wenlo watches real traffic and tells you when to leave — a push at the moment that matters, not a calendar reminder you set three weeks ago. Riders' families see honest progress once you're on the way.
When a driver taps On My Way, the person being picked up gets calm, automatic updates computed from the driver's live location — about 10 minutes out and again about 2 minutes out, so they're at the curb when the car is, not twenty minutes early in the rain.

Before a child under 13 can participate in a carpool with another family, Wenlo requires verified parental consent — a quick card verification on a secure Stripe page (a $1 hold, released immediately, never charged). Location history deletes itself after about 90 days for every member, and nothing is ever sold or shared with data brokers.
The group-chat scramble, the shared spreadsheet nobody updates, and the "are you getting them or am I?" call at 2:40 PM. One surface, shared by the families doing the driving.
